Questions parents ask

Yes. We use non-toxic, skin-safe materials, suitable from just a few days old. Your baby's hand or foot only touches the soft clay for a moment.

All ages are welcome. For crisp 3D casts the sweet spot is 0 to 6 months, and footprints are usually easier than hands. Either way, we take our time — wriggles are fine. Your finished prints will be perfect.

Clay is a slow craft. Your piece dries slowly, has a first firing, is glazed by Jo, then fired again. It will be ready in about three weeks, to collect from the studio — or we can post anywhere in the UK, with postage costs added.

Yes, happily! Brothers and sisters, whole families, grandparents and paws are all welcome. Tell us who is coming and we will make time and room.
